
Addis Ababa hosts NTD meetings in December to discuss lymphatic filariasis, STH, schistosomiasis and onchocerciasis.
The Global Alliance to Eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis (GAELF) and the London Declaration stakeholders are convening the 8th meeting of the GAELF and the 1st global meeting of the STH Coalition with the Global Schistosomiasis Alliance.
At the invitation of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the 8th meeting of the GAELF and the 1st global meeting of the STH Coalition and Global Schistosomiasis Alliance will be held in the United Nations Conference Centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 10-12 December 2014. Building on the increased opportunities for collaboration between NTD programmes, these meetings are organised in conjunction with the 20th session of the Joint Action Forum African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control, which will be held on 8-9 December 2014. The meeting is hosted by the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia with the support of the WHO Country Office in Addis Ababa.
