A recently published paper in Trends in Parasitology examines the history of deworming and explores evidence of deworming effects on health, child development and economic returns. The article is co-authored by Don Bundy, one of GAHI's co-founders and technical advisors, and Lead Health Specialist for Africa at the World Bank. The article also argues for more emphasis on research documenting deworming benefits.
