The Guardian's Global Development Professionals Network published an article today about the need to focus on other aspects of NTD control besides drugs. According to the latest annual report from UK Coalition Against NTDs, NTD control and elimination programmes should "reflect the full range of care and include morbidity management and disability prevention components to promote stigma reduction, support for mental health care and livelihood initiatives."
