The IX Meeting of the Spanish Society of Tropical Medicine and International Health (SEMTSI) will take place on 13 June 2013 in the National Centre of Tropical Medicine of the Carlos III Health Institute in Madrid, Spain.
The meeting will centre around collaborative solutions to helminthiasis. GAHI's Simon Brooker will deliver the inaugural speech on mapping helminth infections in the past, present and future. Later that day GAHI's Jorge Cano Ortega will join a panel to talk about transmission limits for vector-borne helminthiasis, namely lymphatic filariasis.
